First time visiting. We stayed at site B-11 on the water in a travel trailer. Great site near beach area and the new bathhouse (w/ A/C). The park does not reserve spots, it's first come/ first serve. We met lots of great people. Wildlife was wonderful. Each morning we had lots of critters to watch (Canadian geese, chipmunks, woodpeckers, ducks, and deer)around our campsite. Rented a boat from the marina ($120 for 4 hours). Next time we will definitely take our boat so we can spend more time exploring the lake. Lake Martin is beautiful with clear water and lots of sandbars to stop and swim! No TV reception, unless you bring a satellite, but we didn't miss it...

Glenn Cunningham Lake (City Park)
Omaha NEBRASKA , US

Low 3 rating. City run campground with few ammenities. Located adjacent to lake. Spots are large and some are close to water. Sites have electric only (there are communal water spigots to refill tanks or you can refill at dump station). Mostly quiet, but regulations are not enforced, nor have there been any patrols of the campground by park/police. Convenient to shopping and lake provide opportunity for sailing, fishing and possibly swimming (can't determine if allowed or people just do it). First come, first served basis. Probably would not stay again as there are other, neater alternatives....

My husband and I drove 2,000 miles to this park based on their website. Although the landscape is beautiful our six month stay was disappointing. The sites are long but less than half of their listed 200 ft. The roads and sites are unpaved and high winds with mighty sandstorms coming across the valley shredded the cover over our large slide. When nature isn't blowing dust, maintenance kicks up the dirt with a tractor. There is no cell service within the park. Internet works better since my husband fixed it. Some days the park's water pump goes out for a while cutting water supply to guests. There is one public restroom and one shower. The laundry room is ad...

Nice campground. Very large. 500 sites. We stayed on the premium sites right on one of the lakes and had a great time. Great fishing. A little pricey but for a premium site it was well worth in....

Nice campground but popular on weekends. Campground is located between two smaller rivers. Paved all the way through the campground unless on the souther spaces. Most sites have a little more space to them over other campgrounds we have been to in Washington. Beautiful area, fish in the river, or swim in the river. Water is cold....
